Despite being the comic relief, he also provides some very serious muscle and backup for the already intimidating presence of their Captain. When the two of them walk side by side into an elixir bar together, Blob’s monobrow tilted downward and no smile on Max’s face, you probably should move out of the way. Blob’s surfing prowess defies his waist circumfrence, and he often suprises everyone with his clever thinking and ingenuity. And no one cares more for the integrity of their mission than him.
